At the table, the two brothers told the Rockbells about their lives back in Germany and how they came back to this world. It was a long conversation and hours later they all decided to go to bed. Al and Pinako was the first one to leave, but Winry had to clean up the kitchen, before she could get some sleep.

“You need any help with that?” Winry eyed the person.

“Naaa, I can handle it, but thanks Ed. Besides you have had a long day, you need some rest.”

“Yea, you’re probably right. See ya’ in the morning.” Winry nodded.

“Goodnight.”

Ed opened his eyes. He got blinded by a very sharp light. “Am I dead?” Suddenly he saw a person. A female figure. The person sat down on the bed, he was lying on. She got closer.
“Winry?” she smiled at him. He tried to touch her, but couldn’t move. She closed the space between them. Now, only a few inches away from him.

It had been three years since Ed went back to Germany. Three years since he last saw home. He had been very surprised to find his younger brother, in that suit of armor, back then. He was a little irritated, but also very happy. He had his brother by his site now and together they would try to close the gate on their site, which they, after these three years, haven’t found possible yet.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The purpose of this group is to display HIGH QUAILTY FMA art in one place. That's right this your one stop show for the best of the best, the cream of the crop and only the best. The admins have been personally scouring deviantart to provide members with great art.

SUBMITION:

This group is for high quality and detailed art only. (So, if you spent less than a couple of hours on it, it's prolly not going to make it in.) Submissions that are borderline will go into

Don't feel bad or get discouraged if your submission doesn't make it, it's just not right for this group, but all submission will have a hard screening to pass.

Screening Criteria

Submission acceptance will be highly regulated. Any submissions that do not meet the criteria below will be declined. If your submission is declined, feel free to submit it to one of our affilates below. Many are not restricted as much as this group.

SUBMIT TO THE CORRECT GALLERY OR YOU WILL BE DECLINED
Submissions should be colored and shaded or extremely well shaded
(cell/vector shading ok)
Submissions must be highly detailed (i.e. 2hr+ time spent); some people spend 8+ hrs to days on a piece and it shows
Submissions must be related to Full Metal Alchemist
(seems obvious, but you'd be suprised)
Yaoi/Yuri are accepted, but they have to be tasteful and meet group standards.
FEATURED GALLERY
The Featured Gallery is for the top 25 on the site only.
MASS SUBMISSIONS WITHOUT REGARD TO THESE POSTED CRITERIA WILL NOW RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN FROM THE GROUP
Single submissions that are blatantly against criteria could also result in a ban. I'm sorry it's come to this, but if your not willing to follow the rules, your just wasting everyone's time. This is not the group for you.
If you have any questions about something your thinking of submitting, ask first. It will be a lot more well received than just taking your chances.

Just one question, why was my Fullmetal Alchemist art declined from a Fullmetal Alchemist group? That's so stupid. Thinking about leaving the group.

It's not stupid if you read the rules, if you read the rules and look through the galleries you can see the standards we accept. Black and white deviations are only accepted in the black and white gallery and they also have to be highly detailed.
For coloured works we expect good anatomy, good understanding of shadow and tone, the overall composition should be good. I'm not saying that your work is bad but since we have become such a large group we are looking for the best. That is, what I believe, sets us aside from other fma groups on da.

The approval rules for the group are very strict, if you RE-READ the rules, compare your piece to the ones in the group and still wonder why it was declined, link the piece in a reply and I'll give you a more detailed answer. While we value the members of the group, if you take issue or offense to the group rules, then this might not be the group for you.

Doesn't look like you took my advice about the rules or the comparison. Here is the closest picture to yours from a quick scan of the first page in that gallery. [link] You can see there is a clear difference in the smoothness of the lines, the detail of the shading and the detail put into the background. A couple hours is a VERY short time to spend on a detailed piece on dA. I myself can spend that much time just on the lineart. Most of our featured artist spend at least 8 hrs on a piece, and that is on the low end of the spectrum.
